Caribbean Villas & Luxury Villa Rentals

Every island, its own rhythm — all with our level of service.

The Caribbean rewards those who choose precisely. A cliff-edge estate in St Barts is a different holiday from a beachfront compound on Grace Bay, a Sandy Lane address in Barbados, or the quiet of Anguilla's west end. Our Caribbean villas are selected one at a time, and matched to you by advisors who have stood in the rooms — three curated options within 24 hours.

Why the Caribbean, Why Haute Retreats

A curated villa collection across the islands

The Caribbean isn't one destination — it's a constellation of islands, each with a distinct personality. The difference between St Barts and Anguilla is the entire trip.

Our collection of luxury Caribbean villas spans six signature islands — plus three of the region's most extraordinary private-island and private-resort estates in Turks & Caicos, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.

Haute Retreats is not an OTA or a marketplace. Our Caribbean villa rentals are reviewed, vetted and selected one by one, and key properties are visited directly by our destination specialists. Inclusions vary by villa — private chef, butler, daily housekeeping, yacht charters and tailored experiences may be included or arranged through our bespoke concierge service — and are confirmed in writing before booking.

What our specialists arrange

  • Private chef and butler service
  • Pre-arrival provisioning and VIP airport greet
  • Beach-club reservations and restaurant holds
  • Yacht days, charters and island hopping
  • Wellness, in-villa spa and family care
  • Golf, tennis, kite-surf and dive expeditions
  • Helicopter, seaplane and on-island transfers
  • Event planning — weddings, milestones, NYE

Services vary by villa and are confirmed before booking.

Three Questions

How to choose the right Caribbean villa

Start with the island — it sets the tone of the whole trip. Then the group: couples travel differently from a household of sixteen, and the layout should match. Last, the service level — housekeeping only, or chef, butler and manager.

Answer those three and the right shortlist of Caribbean villas almost writes itself. Tell us your answers and we'll send ours within 24 hours.

Types of Caribbean villas

Browse by the kind of stay you want, or skip ahead and tell us your brief — we'll send a curated shortlist within 24 hours.

Beachfront

Beachfront villas in the Caribbean

Direct sand access, no road to cross, the sea audible from the primary suite. True beachfront is the scarcest inventory in the region — and the first to book for festive season. Grace Bay (TCI), Meads Bay (Anguilla), Sandy Lane (Barbados) and Los Corales (DR) hold our deepest beachfront selections.

Fully Staffed

Fully staffed Caribbean villas

A villa is only as good as the people running it. Our fully staffed estates include daily housekeeping and, depending on the house, a private chef, butler and villa manager — Barbados and Turks & Caicos lead here, with some households of seven serving a single residence. Exact staffing confirmed in writing before you book.

Family

Family Caribbean villas

For families, we shortlist on the details brochures omit: gated pools, ground-floor bedrooms, shallow-entry beaches, proximity to paediatric care. Turks & Caicos and Punta Cana are our most-requested family destinations — calm water, generous bedroom counts, and staff accustomed to travelling households with children.

Large Groups

Large group villas & celebrations

Estates for twelve to twenty guests — milestone birthdays, board retreats, three-generation reunions, weddings. The mechanics matter at this scale: equal bedrooms to avoid the "good room" problem, multiple living zones, and a chef who can serve sixteen nightly. Punta Cana and private-island Turks & Caicos hold our strongest large-group inventory.

Make the Right Choice

Where to stay in the Caribbean for villas

Choosing among Caribbean villas is really a choice of island temperament. For scene and dining, St Barts is unmatched. For beach quality and family ease, Turks & Caicos. For formal service, Barbados' west coast. For privacy, Anguilla and the private islands off Providenciales. For value at scale, Punta Cana.

If you're undecided, that's the conversation we're built for — our Caribbean villa rentals span every one of these islands, and an advisor can talk you through the trade-offs against your actual dates.

Direct Answers

Caribbean Villas FAQs

Concise, factual answers from our Caribbean specialists — written for travellers, not search engines. Answers updated June 2026.

What is the best island to stay on in the Caribbean?
It depends on the trip. Anguilla for barefoot-chic privacy and dining; Turks & Caicos for calm turquoise water and families; St Barts for jet-set glamour and the social scene; Barbados for refined culture and golf; Punta Cana for resort-style family living and value; St Martin for sailing and Franco-Caribbean dining.
Are Caribbean villas fully staffed?
Many are. Across the islands, our Caribbean collection includes fully staffed estates (butler, housekeeping, chef and often a manager), partially staffed villas (housekeeping plus optional chef on request) and self-catering homes with concierge support. The flagship private islands — Dream Estate, ÀNI DR and Musha Cay — are entirely staffed and all-inclusive. Each villa's staffing model is confirmed in writing before booking.
Do Caribbean villas include a private chef?
Many do. A private chef is included as standard at most flagship Caribbean estates — with Caribbean-French, Creole and seafood-led menus — and arranged on request in others. Common formats are full board, chef on call (booked per service), or in-villa catering for specific occasions. Our concierge confirms chef availability and cuisine preferences before booking.
How far in advance should I book a Caribbean villa?
For Christmas, New Year and Easter weeks, plan 12 to 18 months ahead — the finest villas across St Barts, Anguilla, Barbados and Turks & Caicos book this far out. For peak January to March, six to nine months is comfortable. For shoulder season (May, June, November) three months is usually enough. Private islands (Dream Estate, Musha Cay) should be enquired about as early as possible.
Is the Caribbean good for families?
Excellent — particularly Turks & Caicos (Grace Bay's calm shallow water, easy direct flights), Punta Cana (large resort-style family estates and direct flights from across the US), and Barbados (refined service, English-speaking, family-friendly beach clubs). Anguilla and St Barts are quieter and suit families with older children. Our specialists match villas to children's ages and water-confidence.
Is the Caribbean good for weddings or milestone celebrations?
Yes — the Caribbean is one of the world's premier wedding and celebration destinations. St Barts, Anguilla and Barbados are the most popular for chic destination weddings; Turks & Caicos and Punta Cana for larger family celebrations; the private islands (Dream Estate, Musha Cay) for the most discreet milestone events. Our team arranges the planner, licences, florals, catering and guest accommodation across nearby villas.
What is included with a Haute Retreats villa rental in the Caribbean?
Most stays include private use of the villa, daily housekeeping and 24/7 concierge support. Private chef, butler, drivers, in-villa spa, beach-club reservations, yacht charters, golf tee times and tailored experiences may be included or arranged depending on the property. Taxes, final cleaning, food and beverage, security deposits and special-event fees may apply. Exact inclusions are confirmed in writing before booking.
How much does it cost to rent a luxury Caribbean villa?
Rates vary significantly by villa, season, size and staffing. Starting rates begin at around $1,200 per night, with the majority of our luxury Caribbean villas sitting between roughly $3,500 and $25,000 per night — and flagship beachfront estates in St Barts, Anguilla and Barbados commanding higher peak rates. All-inclusive private islands (Dream Estate, ÀNI DR, Musha Cay) start higher still, with rates quoted privately. Detailed quotes — including taxes, cleaning, chef and any event fees — are confirmed in writing before booking.
How far are Caribbean villas from the beach?
Our portfolio spans true beachfront (direct sand access, no road to cross), beach-adjacent (a short private path) and hillside (views, breeze and a 5–10 minute drive to the sand). Each listing states its position precisely — and we'll tell you candidly when "beachfront" elsewhere means a road in between.
What is the minimum stay for Caribbean villas?
Typically 5 to 7 nights in high season and 7 to 14 nights over the festive weeks (Christmas, New Year, Easter). Low-season minimums often drop to 3 to 5 nights, and we can occasionally negotiate shorter stays on request.

Booking & practicalities

How do I book a Haute Retreats villa in the Caribbean?
Send your dates and brief through the villa request form, or call us. A specialist will reply with a curated shortlist within 24 hours, then guide you through reservation and the planning of every service. We are not an instant-booking platform on purpose — the Caribbean rewards careful matching.
How do I get to the Caribbean and around the islands?
Most guests route via hubs like Miami (MIA), San Juan (SJU) or St Maarten (SXM), then connect by regional flight or ferry. Direct US flights serve Turks & Caicos (PLS), Barbados (BGI), Punta Cana (PUJ) and several others. On smaller islands, drivers and boat transfers replace long road time. Our concierge co-ordinates every transfer end-to-end.
Is the Caribbean safe during hurricane season?
Hurricane season runs June through November, peaking August to October. Several islands sit outside the main belt — Aruba, Curaçao and Barbados in particular — and remain reliable late-summer choices. We advise on the safest islands and dates each year, and recommend travel insurance for any storm-season trip. See our guide to islands outside the hurricane belt.
Are reduced rates available for longer Caribbean villa stays?
Some villas offer reduced weekly or fortnightly rates outside peak season, particularly for stays of ten nights or more in May, June and November. We surface any available negotiation room when we send the shortlist.
What happens after I confirm the booking?
You are introduced to your dedicated Caribbean specialist, who learns your preferences and starts arranging chef menus, transfers, restaurant reservations, beach-club holds, yacht days and any wedding or event production. A WhatsApp thread connects you to your concierge and the on-site villa team throughout the stay.
What if I'd rather you curate the whole trip for me?
That's the standard service. Tell us how you travel and we'll handle every choice — villa, island, chef, transfers, experiences, restaurants — while keeping you in control of the final decisions.

Rates & Inclusions

How much do Caribbean villas cost?

Pricing guidance below is illustrative. Caribbean villa rentals are quoted individually, based on dates, guests and staffing model.

Entry luxury — $1,200 to $3,500 per night. A well-located three- to four-bedroom villa with pool and daily housekeeping. On St Barts, four-bedroom homes begin around $1,710 in low season; among our Barbados villas, a staffed beachfront pavilion from roughly $2,680.

Mid luxury — $4,000 to $10,000 per night. Six- to seven-bedroom estates with serious staff: a six-bedroom St Barts villa with two pools, cinema and private chef from $6,400, or a seven-bedroom beachfront Punta Cana estate with butler and daily cook from $5,250.

Ultra luxury — $15,000 to $50,000+ per night. Private-island compounds and trophy estates — a twelve-bedroom sanctuary on Parrot Cay with full resort services commands from $46,000 per night.

What moves the number

  • Location — true beachfront carries a 30–60% premium over hillside on the same island
  • Staff — chef, butler and manager price above housekeeping-only, and are usually worth it
  • Season — festive weeks run 50–100% above low season, with 7–14 night minimums
  • Beachfront vs hillside — hillside buys views and breeze for less; beachfront buys the sand itself

Taxes, cleaning, food and beverage, deposits and event fees may apply. Exact inclusions are confirmed in writing, with a clear quote covering every cost line, before any commitment.
