Alta Mundi
Description
In Latin, Alta Mundi means tall axis, which is perhaps the best way to describe Alta Mundi in terms of location, but also insofar as its design concept, which bridges retro chic with modern minimalist technique and color flare. Whatever your style, there’s no question that the view from the pool on the point overlooking the bay at St. Martin’s own Alta Mundi, the height here is one that’s hard to want to come down from.
With four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, Villa Alta Mundi offers up a tall order for guest capacity. This spacious, two-story villa overlooking the bay has a large lawn that’s inviting for lawn games and loud, fun colors on the pool deck including a red bean bag chair and duckbill-yellow deck chairs. An iron banister painted white in filigreed, geometric patterns goes straight from the pool deck to an upstairs lounge on the balcony beside a barbecue—the perfect place to host a meal cooked by a chef or catering partner.
Our complimentary concierges ensure each guest is treated with the utmost in quality service, attending to every detail of the experience so your vacation can be logistics-free and truly relaxing. In-villa spa treatments, maid service, excursions, and bookings (as in boats or tours) can also all be arranged during a stay at Villa Alta Mundi. A pool attendant is available to keep the facilities fresh for the entire stay and a property manager is available every day to ensure that all services are up to guests’ qualities and standards, as well as the impeccable standards maintained at Alta Mundi.
All four of Alta Mundi’s rooms are queen-sized with en-suite bathrooms, showers, vanities, televisions, and air conditioning. Accent walls of sunflower yellow and sea blue offset an undertone of plain white, minimalist modernism. In fact, all over Alta Mundi, color plays and pops off of otherwise stable surfaces, inviting liveliness and enjoyment.
The pool extends in a straight line from the terrace and master bedroom out towards the sea. At its far end, a thatch of palms surrounded by boulders painted playful blue sweeps up to meet the cottony Caribbean clouds. There’s more sky than there is ocean in the views at Alta Mundi, but there’s also a feeling of having reached new heights on this villa overlooking the bay in French Cul De Sac, St. Martin.
