Amandari is inspired by a traditional village, framed by jungle and rice terraces in Bali’s cultural heartland. The sacred and essential grounds to local families where children attend dance classes and religious processions pass through regularly, leading down the steps that spill below Amandari to a 7th – century stone tiger – a motif repeated throughout the property. This unique place is set in the village of Kedewatan, 15 minutes’drive from Ubud, hidden on a hillside overlooking rice terraces and the wilderness of the Ayung Valley.
Amandari 3 bedroom villa features five pavilions that comprise three bedrooms, a glass-walled living room, and fully equipped kitchen. It is located less than a minute’s drive from the resort. The garden and landscaped deck with a marble-floored dining bale.
The villa boasts an expansive two-tier swimming pool finished in pale green tiles.
As a guest of Amandari, you’ll have full access to stunning amenities, set against the picturesque backdrop of verdant terraced fields.
Two full-time staff and a dedicated vehicle, always on call are included with your reservation.
The Dining Experience at the Amandari resort is a memorable experience. Guests enjoy cooling mountain breezes while having a fine tropical dining from breakfast through dinner.
The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and serves Western and local Indonesian dishes. It overlooks the main pool. You can seat in the bar area that offers alfresco seating.
The Bar is the ideal spot for refreshing drinks and sundowners overlooking the pool, open from 10 am to 11 pm. The Roof Terrace is perfect for an intimate dinner. It boasts sweeping views from an elevated position above the tree canopy.
The facilities at Amandari include a library, a boutique, a gallery, a SPA, a GYM, a Yoga area, a swimming pool, a music pavilion and tennis facilities.
The SPA includes two open-air bales, a beauty room, sauna and a marble steam room. Treatments can also be booked in-suite, or in a bale overlooking the Ayung valley. The treatment menu features local Balinese ingredients is renowned for the soothing properties.
Private Yoga lessons are available in an outdoor setting with a resident teacher.
The swimming pool is 32-meter with green tiles and boasts spectacular views of the rice terraces.

Amandari offers invigorating treks and cycling routes through the Ayung Valley. We can arrange a white water rafting along the Ayung River. If you like golfing there the Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club set in the crater of an extinct volcano, one of the world’s most beautiful golf courses, right 90 minutes’ drive from Amandari. The Nirwana Golf Club is located 45 minutes ‘ drive from Amandari. 90 minutes south you can play at the Bali’s National Golf Club by Amanusa on the Nusa Dua peninsula.
