Ideal for older kids, employees, or visitors who value a little more independence, the seventh and eighth bedrooms are located in a separate guest casita with a shared bathroom.

Inside, Casa Alcini is less staged and more laid back and mature. With high-quality appliances and a sturdy, useful counter area that encourages cooking rather than just catering, the open kitchen, dining room, and bar all share a single, flowing area. Bold artwork and built-in sofas in the terracotta style add warmth and character to the interiors, while soft beige and cream hues capture the shifting light throughout the day. Movie nights, big-game screenings, and kids’ cartoons at dawn all have a natural home without taking over the rest of the villa thanks to a comprehensive media center that anchors the main living area.

When the main living room fully opens onto the oceanfront terrace, the true drama begins. Here, a Jacuzzi is close enough to hear the surf while you soak, and a long infinity pool draws your gaze directly out to the horizon. At night, when the sky is full of stars and the lights of Cabo San Lucas shimmer along the shore, a fire pit serves as the villa’s second living room.

You can go from grilled fish and tacos at the outdoor dining table to late-night drinks by the pool with ease thanks to the outdoor kitchen and barbecue, all while listening to the sound of the waves on the sand. A sculpted water feature adds a cool, unexpected moment of calm as you enter Casa Alcini, which from the outside leans into its desert setting with cacti and native flora.

Arriving is simple. Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is the best gateway; in regular traffic, it takes about 40 to 45 minutes to drive to Pedregal; during peak holiday or weekend hours, it can take up to an hour. A comfortable sedan or SUV is advised over extremely low-profile sports cars on the final stretch of the community, which follows a paved, winding hillside road down toward the beach.

The road is in good condition but has a few steeper sections. The drive is further shortened by using the smaller Cabo San Lucas airport for private flights. After you get there, access is controlled by private security at the gate, which is open around-the-clock. From there, it’s a quick descent to the beachfront row where Casa Alcini is located.

From the villa, daily logistics are simple to handle. It’s about a five-minute drive from Cabo San Lucas Marina to the center of downtown, which is home to numerous eateries and a vibrant nightlife. If you’d rather walk, it’s a longer, more picturesque stroll. Pharmacies and urgent care facilities are within ten minutes’ drive of large supermarkets and big-box stores for provisioning.

Depending on traffic, it usually takes ten to fifteen minutes to get to Medano Beach, Cabo’s more swimmable side with its beach clubs and water sports. For larger excursions, allow approximately 40 minutes for the farm-to-table eateries and rural areas surrounding San José del Cabo, and a comparable amount of time for the boat ride from the marina to the iconic Arch at Land’s End.

When you’re ready to venture outside of Casa Alcini, three noteworthy nearby experiences are a sunset or whale-watching cruise from Cabo San Lucas Marina, which is only five minutes away by car; an off-road ATV or side-by-side adventure in the desert canyons north of town, which is about thirty to forty minutes’ drive from the villa; and a leisurely farm-to-table lunch and garden walk at famous locations like Flora Farms or Acre in the foothills near San José del Cabo, which, depending on traffic and time of day.
