Chateau Ventoux is a sublime castle located in Provence, France, on a seventeen-acre private estate near Mont Ventoux, just outside the town of Sarrians.
A restored 18th-century property that maintains its antique elegant splendour. Chateau Ventoux has been transformed into a veritable country resort with enchanting interiors, beautiful statues and fountains in the stately gardens, and a chapel for wedding ceremonies.
Chateau Ventoux features nine beautiful bedrooms including three master suites. At extra cost, guests can enjoy the villa’s farmhouse which includes a squash court, a gym, office, boardroom, and accommodations for seventeen additional travellers.
This is a majestic venue for memorable occasions and celebrations or idyllic escapes with loved ones, nestled amid lush vineyards and orchards. During your vacation you can enjoy games of basketball, tennis or volleyball and relish a refreshing swim in the villa’s pools. The lovely poolside dining pavilion is perfect where to spend your afternoons with attached a courtyard dining area with adjoining loggia and kitchen. Upper terraces and balconies are ideal for sipping morning coffee or evening digestifs in the exquisite light of Southern France.
Inside the interiors are elegant. In the reception room, summer yellow walls and parquet floors complete comfortable white furnishings, illuminated by a trio of French doors opening to the gardens. The luminous dining room welcomes memorable feasts beneath the crystal chandelier. The kitchen is a gourmet’s dream, with modern appliances, an ample island, and a broad archway to a casual dining room.
Each of the master suites features a king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and tub. Six guest suites are located on the uppermost floor with ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms evoke the same Romantic character as the rest of the home, while modern heating and air conditioning ensure comfort in all seasons.
Chateau de Ventoux is located walking distance of the village of Sarrians and a short drive from Orange, Nimes and Avignon.
Sarrians is the ideal location for discovering the wine estates of the prestiguous Côtes du Ventoux. Starting with Beaumes de Venise, discover Vacqueyras, Gigondas, Sablet, Cairanne and finally Rasteau. All amazing wine producing villages with world renowned names. Just 15 minutes from Sarrians you will find the village of Chateauneuf-du-Pape which is the best known of them all. Sarrians is centrally located, so day trips to Avignon, St-Rémy-de-Provence, Lourmarin, Aix-en-Provence and even the coast are perfectly possible.
