Refined yet luxuriously comfortable, this modern-African home on the slopes of Sasakwa Hill offers uninterrupted views across the Serengeti‘s open plains. Designed for exclusive use, there’s a sense of relaxed freedom for families or friends to enjoy shared experiences in nature here. New, casual, living spaces include an eat-in kitchen and media room, a full gym adjacent to the extended outdoor sala, and a brand new tented spa suite at the updates tennis pavilion. A 25-metre lap pool, outdoor dining decks and fire pits provide intimate interactions with a busy water hole.
A Private Safari experience:
In reserving the lodge you gain your very own private guide and safari cruiser to go out on game drives with activities designed to your own schedule. Set in a game-rich location in the private Grumeti Reserves, you’ll witness all of Africa’s big game; lions, giraffe, zebra, elephant, leopard, buffalo–even the elusive black rhino!
Your reservations include all meals and beverages (including premium wines, spirits and liquors, but excluding French Champagne), private guide, house manager, chef and house staff, private game drives in open game-viewing vehicles (one vehicle for up to 8 guests), tennis, return road transfers between the Sasakwa airstrip and the lodge, telephone calls, laundry service, WiFi access where applicable.

Our Specialized Guides are actual resident within the areas in which we operate. They are the most experienced rangers, hand-selected and assigned based on your interests; photography, seasoned travelers who’ve done multiple safaris and looking for something specific, or first time travelers wanting a perfect introduction to Africa. Dietary needs & requests are taken into special consideration to ensure every comfort.

In keeping with the concept of a vacation villa in the wild Serengeti, families and couples are offered an array of engaging pastimes when not out on drives. A week long stay can fly by as you settle into the comforts of a gracious home and staff. Hot Air ballooning at the break of dawn start off an exciting day’s adventures. Fancy a game? A private tennis court on the property awaits to add to your journal of a memorable reunion getaway in remote Africa.
