Description
Villa Summit is a luxury Santorini villa on the slopes of highest island’s point. This villa stands alone above 4 smaller villas, all set in the private grounds of an extensive terraced estate.
This is an upscale retreat of peace and tranquility, of local plants and trees, of stylish modern living blended with nature. Summit is 200 sqm of architectural genius, the blend of raw materials, wood, stone and marble, and the total privacy make this a unique Santorini villa.
The large stylish outdoor terrace is a platform in the sky, with views of the peninsula of Akrotiri and the long black sand beach of Perissa and Perivolos. The patio is of local polished stone and the heated pool-jacuzzi with sun loungers is on a decked platform. There is a sail sunshade over an alfresco dining area, and the outdoor terraces blends perfectly with the house and the sky. The pool is handcrafted in geometric shapes with one edge that is your infinity ‘wow’ balcony over the Aegean Sea. The view is mesmerizing, seas, sky, clouds and if the weather is right the outline of Crete on the horizon.
Inside the villa is a modern Cycladic designer space with large glass window doors along the whole front of Summit’s oblong shape. The villa is filled with the sky and the views, the living space is facing the pool terrace and has a comfortable living room and open-plan fully equipped modern kitchen with dining table and chairs. The king size master bedroom with anatomical mattress is a luxury white haven, and there are 2 bathrooms, one with a bowl bathtub and one with walk-in rain shower, and a separate W/C room with bidet. The large windows to let in the sky and sea, and the luxury robes and slippers and bathroom products make this is a couple’s home spa paradise.
Summit is set in grounds with an organic garden and indigenous herb bushes, used by the chef for the home-cooked breakfast feast served to you each morning on your terrace. The Profitis Ilias Monastery is on the highest point of the island of the island, 567 meters, on the top of the mountain of the same name. You can visit the gardens of the monastery and the chapel; the panoramic views of the island are unparalleled. There is a small gift shop selling local craft products to support the cloistered monks who still live there today.
