One of our favorite spots where to enjoy a nice relaxing afternoon at sunset enjoying a good Italian wine is the rooftop terrace.
The interiors recently updated feature amenities like Sky TV, an iPod dock and Wi-Fi access, as well as air-conditioned bedrooms.
The living spaces are nice and charming featuring beamed ceilings, stone walls and rough-hewn fireplace. The cozy living room and the bright dining area are very nicely furnished, the dining area opens tot he garden. Outside you can enjoy a lunch or a dinner where a nice table that accommodates eight guests can enjoy the beautiful setting.
The kitchen is fully equipped, but it keeps the open wood shelving.
Each bedroom is located in the tower and has an en-suite bathroom and AC.
The first bedroom is set on the ground floor and boasts a king bed; on the second floor, the bedroom has two bunk beds with plenty of room for children. On the third floor, the third bedroom boasts a king size bed that opens onto the rooftop terrace.
Staying at the Murlo Estate will give you a chance to explore the “green heart of Italy”. You can hike from the villas to the top of Monte Tezio, from there you will enjoy spectacular views of Assisi, Perugia, Lake Trasimeno.
When you stay at Villa Subtilia we can arrange personal yoga lessons and also pilates lessons, no better place to be.

How about a truffle hunting adventure? The age-old tradition in Umbria. Your personal guide will take you through the forest seeking truffles. The experience includes also a small truffle tasting with 4 different types of truffles.

One of our favorites activities during the summer is the boat trip in the Lake Trasimeno, the fourth largest Italian lake. A 8 meter long motor boat will take a brief visit to the islands of the lake, Maggiore, Minore, and Polvese. You will have lunch in of the many restaurants, previously booked on the lake shores.
There are other activities we can arrange for you from a horseback riding, a ballooning adventure, an adventure in a farmhouse, quad trips, explore the chocolate road or the cashmere road. If you like shopping, The Mall is 1 hour and 40 minutes from the Murlo estate and you can shop up to 14 top brands like Fendi, Armani, Gucci, Valentino…there are others mall in the area.
During your stay you cannot miss cultural sites like Norcia, Gubbio, Spoleto and spiritual places like the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi or the Porziuncola to name a few.

We can also arrange a round on the Antognolla golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., just 2 minutes from the villa.
