Villa Bloom

Within Croatia’s Republic, Villa Bloom is a highly-regarded cultural institution that has deep historical importance. With its beautifully designed landscapes and gardens, this well-preserved luxury home is a fusion of residential and business spaces, aiming at achieving the characteristic aura of an 18th century suburban edifice. Despite being razed to the ground by the Russian Montenegrin invasion of 1806, it emerged from the ashes again in the middle of nineteenth century showing endurance.

In 1933 Marko Rusk became a guardian of the mansion. The estate underwent major changes under his leadership in 1934; there was a full reconstruction and enlargement. This change made Villa Bloom alive through Mladen Kauzlarić and Stjepan Gomboš who had been their disciples in architecture as far as Le Corbusier was concerned.

The most recent chapter in its storied history unfolded with a meticulous renovation and reconstruction project, adhering scrupulously to professional standards and intricate legal procedures. A collaborative effort involving twenty architects and engineers, this endeavor prioritized not only the aesthetics and design of external areas but also the architectural nuances of the house and auxiliary structures. The result is a captivating edifice that seamlessly blends historical charm with contemporary allure.

Villa Bloom lies on an extensive territory measuring 2500 m² which includes splendid gardens with terraces; while the main building measures around 800m². In each floor of this main building two large bedrooms en-suite are available plus one adjacent room having got double bed on one side accommodated by another apartment consisting of one sleeping room, bathroom facilities , living room with kitchenette at annexes nearby. Besides there are gymnasiums along with sauna rooms, swimming pools equipped with whirlpool baths inside them for summers barbeque grills (cooking habits) (and), even heated swimming pool.

Surely Villa Bloom’s biggest draw is its proximity to Old Town, supplemented by vast outdoor spaces and meticulously crafted terraced docks that house native flowers, some preserved and others newly planted. Every aspect of Villa Bloom serves as an amazing testament to the art of architecture and historical preservation, encouraging visitors to partake in a rich heritage filled with luxury and sophistication.
