Villa Galileo
Description
Welcome to Villa Galileo a luxurious villa with a 19th century architecture located near Lucca in Tuscany.
It was the summer residence of the noble family Controni, and it was well-preserved and was completely renovated. It accommodates up to twenty-two guests. It is the perfect setting for your family reunion, an intimate Italian wedding with pine forest and castle-dotted hilltops.
Your reservation at Villa Galileo includes chef service at breakfast and lunch or dinner. Enjoy the beautiful views across the olive groves, the scent of the flowers, and relax by the pool. The al-fresco dining area is the perfect area where to enjoy a barbecue.
Inside Villa Galileo includes luxury facilities and amenities like a fitness center, games room and a wine fridge. The luxury villa features a private chapel where you can have your wedding.
The interiors feature an Old World heritage, from the glittering chandeliers and plush area rugs to the brightly painted paneling that lines the sitting and dining areas. A quiet study shows the same elegance on a smaller scale, while the fully equipped kitchen is large enough to cater for a crowd. Despite the villa’s history, it has modern features from Wi-Fi and air conditioning to satellite television as well.
Each of the villa’s eleven sumptuous bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom; ten of them have double beds and one offers the choice of a queen bed or two twin beds. You’ll be enchanted both by the suites’ stone floors and traditional furnishings, and the sweeping views of the countryside out the windows.
Villa Galileo is located less than 5 miles from Lucca and a tennis club, and less than 20 miles from Pisa and a golf course. Visit Lucca and admire its palazzos and churches and look out from the famous tree-topped Guinigi Tower. Enjoy a wonderful vacation in Tuscany with Haute Retreats!
