Description
Villa San Savino is a 14th-century church has been changed from a sacred space into a luxurious haven for family gatherings, through an incredible restoration that resulted in a beautiful 4-bedroom villa with the charm and elegance in Umbria.
While maintaining many of its former looks such as terracotta floors, wooden beams and exposed rock walls, the villa pays respect to its rich history while embracing modern day comforts. The light filled interiors are adorned with plush furniture pieces, adorned with petal patterns and bright colors creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The spacious open-plan living and dining area next to the airy family kitchen acts as a focal point whereas the old chapel turned into a separate vaulted-ceiling living room adds grandeur.
Outside, the villa’s gardens are alive with color; vibrant fuchsia flowers cascade over the authentic stone façade whilst ivy grows thickly. The landscape is dotted with lush trees and potted plants create an air of tranquility. Guests can recline on the swimming pool or lounge on its sun-drenched terrace to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of forested hillsides or sit back on deck chairs overlooking the valley, making it ideal both for birdwatching or sunset viewing.
Various al fresco dining locations provide incredible places where you can enjoy meals surrounded by awe-inspiring landscapes hence each culinary experience comes with a different view.
