Villa Angelique
Description
The air becomes salty, calm, and leisurely as you pass the gates of PUNTACANA RESORT & CLUB. Then, Villa Angelique appears, bright and brand-new against verdant fairways and swaying palms.
Inside, warm wood and Coralina stone are bathed in sunlight; tall sliders fold away to allow the great room to breathe like a veranda; breakfast flows from the island kitchen to the terrace without anyone deciding where to sit. Travelers seek out Punta Cana villas for their effortless elegance: modern lines tempered by tropical textures, golf-course tranquility everywhere, and a design that allows big gatherings to coexist without disturbing one another’s rhythm.
The house is set up for a real vacation. The arrangement of the six bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, strikes a balance between privacy and togetherness to ensure that everyone sleeps soundly and awakens gently. The fourth is a bright bunk room with two twin-over-twin sets for late-night whispers and early-morning excitement; the third bedroom has two full beds for friends or older children; and the two king-bed primary suites upstairs feel resort-like in size and light.
Multigenerational living is made easy by two more guest rooms on the ground floor, one with a full bed and the other with two fulls. Everywhere, ceiling fans and silent climate control precisely adjust comfort, and Smart/international cable TVs act and then vanish, leaving the music for birds and palm trees. A formal dining area opens to the terrace for extended meals, and an outdoor dining nook and grill elevate barefoot lunches into the habit column.
The kitchen is truly cook-friendly, featuring high-end appliances, thoughtful prep zones, and adequate refrigeration. While loungers trade sunlight for dappled shade and the view sweeps across verdant meadows to a palm horizon, the pool retains the ideal amount of light as the afternoon heats up.
The way Villa Angelique maintains sanctuary-level tranquility while bringing you closer to the coast is what makes it so special. Golfers divide their time between the oceanside holes of P.B. Dye’s La Cana and Tom Fazio’s PGA-hosted Corales; the Six Senses Spa incorporates hydrotherapy and leisurely rituals into late afternoons; tennis, padel, and pickleball sit beneath the palm trees; sailing, windsurfing, kites, snorkeling, and scuba catch the afternoon breeze; and in just a few minutes by golf cart, you’re on the sugar-soft crescent of La Cana Beach Club, swimming in calm water and lounging over seaside lunches.
Back at the villa, evenings are spent gathered around the outdoor table and pool as the sky turns violet and people talk for as long as they can.
Planning is made easier by realistic, door-to-door travel times and distances. The average travel time from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) to Villa Angelique is 8–12 minutes during off-peak hours and 12–18 minutes during peak hours. Corales Golf Course is 10 to 15 minutes away; La Cana Beach Club and Golf is 5 to 10 minutes by golf cart; Playa Blanca is typically 8 to 12 minutes by cart; PUNTACANA Village, which has a pharmacy, supermarket, ATM, cafés, and boutiques, is about 8 to 12 minutes by car; and BlueMall Puntacana is 12 to 18 minutes, depending on the time of day.
Place Villa Angelique in the Hacienda/Arrecife belt close to La Cana on the southeast coast of the resort, roughly at 18.51° N, 68.38° W, for orientation. The last one to two kilometers follow level, well-maintained estate lanes that are suitable for all vehicle classes; the approach roads are completely paved.
The process of getting to the villa is simple: fly into PUJ, get into a private SUV or resort shuttle, and check in while a concierge (if requested) arranges for golf carts, pantry pre-stocking, tee times, spa treatments, and a first beach setup. On a daily basis, an SUV works well for grocery runs and off-property dinners, while a golf cart is the convenient option for beach, golf, spa, and dining.
Villa Angelique’s brand-new, golf-fringe location and family-first floor plan—two true primary suites, a dedicated kids’ bunk room, and breezy indoor-outdoor living—are what really set it apart from other Punta Cana villas. It offers contemporary comforts with a level of seclusion and privacy that many surrounding homes simply cannot match.
Play a golden-hour nine at La Cana, enjoy a toes-in-the-sand dinner at Playa Blanca, explore shaded trails for a freshwater plunge in the Ojos Indígenas ecological lagoons, and start the day with an espresso and swim at La Cana Beach Club.
