Our five private villas at La Reserva de Cortesin are south facing, generously proportioned and finished with the highest qualities. Its 495m2 includes four suites, living-room, dining-room, marble bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen equipped with all the latest appliances, storage space, laundry room and guest toilet. The outside comprises spacious terraces and verandas in addition to a private swimming pool and the possibility to enjoy the high class services of one of the best hotels in Spain.

· Contemporary Andalusia Design:
Not far from the picturesque village of Casares, located between Marbella and Sotogrande, Finca Cortesin was built in 2009 and designed in the style of a classic Andalusian ‘finca’. It has exceptional interiors – think antique terracotta floors, original carved wooden doors salvaged from ancient castles, hand-painted wall coverings in soft pastel tones and exquisite furnishings to create an air of understated refinery. This is a place where a traditional Mediterranean lifestyle is seamlessly wedded to the latest in contemporary living: superb cuisine, impeccable service, and an unrivalled ambiance of peace and beauty.
The hotel’s public areas were undertaken by interior decorator Duarte Pinto Coelho, with personally sourced antiques and period furniture. The resort’s logo bears testament to the original carob tree on the land. Finca Cortesin’s fantastic location means that Marbella and Puerto Banús are just a short drive away, and it is also within easy reach of Sotogrande. Málaga Airport is a 50-minute drive, while Gibraltar Airport is only 15 minutes.

· Light and spacious Suites:
Built around two main courtyards of palatial proportion, the hotel has 67 luxuriously-appointed suites ranging from 50m² to 200m² in size. Each suite has an impressive four-metre-high ceiling and is flooded with natural light. From the entry-level Junior Suite to the top Cortesin Suite, they have been elegantly and individually designed with thoughtful touches throughout. Bathrooms are finished in Travertine marble with spacious bathtubs, walk-in rain showers, twin vanities and a separate WC. The majority of suites also benefit from their own private porch, patio or terrace, with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea, of the golf course, beautiful gardens or rolling Andalusian mountains. A highly personal offering at Finca Cortesin is that all the items found in the suites – from furniture to soft furnishing and decorative accessories – can be purchased by guests to take home, to enhance their homes à la Finca after they depart.

· Gastronomy:
Finca Cortesin’s two predominant restaurants are El Jardín de Lutz with its traditional Spanish cuisine and Kabuki Raw, awarded with one Michelin Star, which in addition to its pure orthodox Japanese dishes offers others that have emerged as a result of Japanese and Mediterranean influences. Don Giovanni restaurant, combining respect towards tradition and innovative offers authentic Italian dishes and The Beach Club, directly on the beach, offers the best in Mediterranean cuisine including seafood and rice dishes… all impeccably served as only Finca Cortesin knows. And at dusk, enjoy a cocktail prepared by our barman whilst enjoying the sunset.

Wellbeing & SPA:
Spanning an impressive 2,200m², The Spa at Finca Cortesin is home to thermal baths, a fitness centre with personal trainers, tennis and Yoga instructors (upon request), a 25-metre heated indoor saltwater pool, three thermal areas, each with their own sauna, Turkish bath and relaxation area – in addition to Spain’s first ‘Snow Cave’. Senior therapists from Thailand, Bali, Sri Lanka and of course, Spain, provide guests with memorable treatments, ensuring a truly bespoke and authentic experience. There are 10 treatment rooms and one Spa (double treatment) suite for romantic getaways which comes complete with a heated floor and a bath area. The esteemed French beauty brand, Biologique Recherche and organic skincare brand Tata Harper provide quick and long lasting results for all skin types.

· World Championship golf course:
Opened in March 2006 and set across a vast 532-acre estate, Finca Cortesin’s 18-hole championship golf course is ranked as one of Spain’s finest by prestigious Golf Digest magazine, while it was also named Spain’s ‘Most Hospitable Golf Club’ by users of respected website Leadingcourses.com in 2018. Designed by American Cabell Robinson, the par-72 layout has hosted numerous high-profile tournaments including the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Complementing the world-class golf course are outstanding practice facilities including a state-of-the-art Jack Nicklaus Golf Academy. Finca Cortesin became the first course in Spain to feature a new, environmentally-friendly type of Bermuda grass when the resort re-laid all its putting surfaces last summer and, with the greens having fully settled and matured, its 18-hole championship course is now in prime condition.
