This six-bedroom retreat, which was designed in the traditional Mexican hacienda style with hints of Italian design, strikes a balance between classic craftsmanship and breezy coastal living, making it a home that is both elegant and incredibly comfortable.
As soon as you walk through the door, you’re in vacation mode. The first bedroom on the right promises seclusion and peace, while the fully furnished kitchen on the left serves as the focal point of the house and is ideal for relaxing with morning coffee or conversing with the chef while dinner is being prepared. If you keep going straight, you’ll come to a spacious living room and a pleasant dining area. Broad glass doors that slide away to reveal the pool terrace and frame stunning views of the sea let in an abundance of sunlight.
The main house has five well-designed suites, each with a marble bathroom of its own. The second floor has three guest bedrooms with peaceful nooks to hide in after a long day. The rooftop, an iconic vantage point with a panoramic, cinematic view of the entire bay, is where the last bedroom awaits you, one more level up. Both early risers and stargazers love it.
Sueño del Mar is best enjoyed outdoors. Enjoy leisurely afternoons drifting between two lounge areas by the pool, taking naps occasionally and alternating dips with book chapters. When you’re prepared for a change of scenery and a broad view of the sky and sea, ascend to the roof lounge. The beachside palapa at the water’s edge invites you to eat in the shade while keeping your toes in the sand and listening to the surf.
From day one, dining here is simple and delicious. You will receive a complimentary arrival dinner upon your arrival in Soliman Bay. Whether you eat inside the villa, by the pool in the breeze, or under the palapa by the beach, continental breakfasts and chef services are provided Monday through Saturday to keep everyone content. Naturally, the rhythm of the day melds with the rhythm of meals.
A welcoming, helpful staff is there to support your stay, and their main goal is to make sure you have a great time. They will make sure everything is in order and are happy to arrange private yoga sessions or in-villa massages so you can relax however you choose. Activities can be planned directly on the beach for those who enjoy the water, such as kayaking or snorkeling to explore the calm, turquoise shallows of Soliman Bay.
