Description
The pace slows as you pass the PUNTACANA RESORT & CLUB’s palms. Light pools across Coralina stone, trade winds wind through the gardens, and Tortuga B10, a two-story, four-suite retreat surrounded by mature palms and long fairway sightlines, comes into view.
The main part of the villa is outside, where a large pool terrace leads to a shaded portico that doubles as a second living area. As the afternoon wears on, the horizon over the world-class La Cana fairways turns honey-gold, and the garden quiets down. Mornings start off barefoot on the sun deck, and by midday, the alfresco dining table hums next to the barbecue. For true privacy and rest, four bedrooms are scaled. With a king bed, entertainment system, spa-bright bath, and doors to the terrace, the main suite is a spacious, upper-level haven where sunrise is welcomed as color and air rather than as a wake-up call. There is another suite upstairs with two double beds and access to a terrace. Two guest suites, each with two double beds, open to the greenery on the main floor. One of the suites steps straight out to the portico, allowing early swimmers to sneak out while the rest of the house sleeps. Each suite features a luxurious en suite bathroom, a ceiling fan, quiet air conditioning, lots of storage, and gentle natural light that brightens mornings.

In order to make arrival feel like the continuation of a plan rather than the beginning of logistics, concierge coordination can set up airport transfers, golf carts, grocery pre-stocking, private chef service, spa rituals, and reef or fishing charters. A committed housekeeper and gardener also quietly reset the canvas every day.
Beyond the garden, resort amenities expand your horizons: the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center, which offers lessons and a kids’ camp under palm trees; a well-equipped fitness center with private instruction; peaceful beach access; the La Cana Clubhouse, which features a beachfront pool, seaside dining, spa, and bar; and the headline golf split between Tom Fazio’s Corales and P.B. Travel times and distances (door-to-door and realistic): It normally takes 8–12 minutes off-peak and 12–18 minutes during peak hours to get from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) to Tortuga B10.
It usually takes 5 to 10 minutes by golf cart to get to La Cana Beach Club and Golf; 8 to 12 minutes by cart to get to Playa Blanca; 10 to 15 minutes by cart to Corales Golf Course; 7 to 12 minutes to the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center; 8 to 12 minutes by car to PUNTACANA Village, which has a pharmacy, supermarket, ATM, cafés, and boutiques; and 12 to 18 minutes by car to BlueMall Puntacana, depending on the time of day. Map cue: Tortuga enclave on the southeast coast, roughly 18.51° N, 68.38° W, on the resort’s lake-and-fairway belt close to La Cana.
The last one to two kilometers follow flat estate lanes with speed bumps that are suitable for all vehicle classes. The approach roads are completely paved.
Arrival and logistics: Fly into PUJ, the nearest and most practical gateway; board a private SUV or resort shuttle for a brief, signed transfer; and check in at the villa while your concierge makes sure that there are golf carts, tee sheets, first-night menus, and a beach setup. An SUV works well for grocery runs or evenings spent off-property, while a golf cart is the convenient mode of transportation for beaches, spas, golf, and dinners on a daily basis.
