Why hospitality still begins with heart
When I started Haute Retreats, I wasn't thinking about numbers or algorithms. I was thinking about people — the way a guest's eyes light up when they walk into a villa that feels made just for them; the quiet comfort of knowing someone thought ahead to stock their favourite wine.
Before Haute Retreats, I spent years in hospitality — back when reservations were handwritten and guests were greeted by name, not by booking number. No computers. Only intuition, presence and heart. To this day, that is still the soul of everything we do.
When someone contacts us, they're not reaching a sales team. They're reaching people who care — people who've been on both sides of the check-in desk, and who've devoted their lives to creating beauty, ease and joy.

Sabrina Piccinin
25+ Years in Luxury Hospitality
For over twenty-five years, Sabrina Piccinin has been at the forefront of luxury hospitality, crafting extraordinary experiences for the world's most discerning travellers. Born and raised in Italy, her path was anything but conventional: she began her career as a commercially licensed airline pilot — mastering precision and excellence — before becoming a general manager for prestigious hotel brands including Hyatt, then a villa manager in Costa Rica, and founding Haute Retreats in 2016.
Her vision was clear: a handpicked collection of the world's most exclusive villas, each offering not only breathtaking accommodation but world-class service and bespoke experiences. Every property is personally vetted; every relationship built on trust with the most respected property managers and hospitality professionals worldwide.

Though she has lived everywhere from Boston and Miami to Costa Rica and Rome, Sabrina remains deeply connected to her Italian roots and now resides near Venice — balancing a thriving global business with the moments that matter most.
