Villa Lisa is an elegant and traditional Tuscan property located in a super countryside position with the village of Monsummano Terme just a couple of kilometres away. Beautiful gardens surround the villa and the views across the valley to the neighbouring hills are dotted with chestnut and oak trees plus shimmering silver olive groves.

The lovely villa is 250 years old and recent refurbishment has taken it to a very comfortable level making it a great choice for a super holiday in this culture-rich region of Italy. Renovations have not changed the original plans and the interesting layout adds to the charm of the house. Antiques, rugs, polished wood furniture, beams and terracotta floors provide all the atmosphere needed to really immerse yourselves in the authentic Tuscan style. Both heating and air conditioning are found throughout the house ensuring warmth in the cooler months and cool in the heat of the summer.

The villa is simply divided over two floors – the ground floor being home to some very spacious lounging areas. There are two sitting rooms both with their own open fireplaces, a separate TV room which leads into a splendid games room with full sized billiard table, library and piano. Not one but two kitchens ensure that you have space and the equipment to try your hand at some delicious Italian recipes – an oven, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster plus a pizza oven should be ample to keep the most experienced of cooks entertained. Two elegant dining rooms of different dimensions offer comfortable and cool spaces for dining indoors but we are sure you will make the most of the pretty furnished terrace for some wonderful al-fresco dining where you may soak up the spectacular views all around whilst sipping a chilled glass of local white wine.

The second floor is accessed by two internal staircases to 6 of the bedrooms – 4 of these have double beds and en-suite bathrooms and one is home to a mezzanine level with a single bed. There is a further triple and single bedroom with a shared bathroom. The 7th bedroom is accessed from another staircase from the ground floor and has twin beds – there is not a bathroom on this level but there are two shower rooms on the ground floor.

Outside the inviting infinity pool sits on a lower terrace again affording superb views from both the water and from the sun loungers. For those wishing to relax, there is a great hydro-massage area and for those wishing to get some serious exercise, there is a super treadmill system allowing you to swim hundreds of metres in the same spot. Pool-side shade is provided by large sun umbrellas as well as a gazebo, positioned a little further away. Underneath the pool, there is shower, WC and changing room.

The style, spaciousness and position of Villa Lisa make it a real winner in this fabulous part of Tuscany.
