Costa Rica

Costa Rica is one of our favorite destinations, first of all because it is where Sabrina and her family lived for almost 5 years (in the Guanacaste region) and also because it is the cutting edge when it comes to sustainable tourism.

Costa Rica is filled with misty cloud forests, belching volcanoes and long stroll of remote beaches, that Ticos (Costaricans) are preserving creating an effective green environment. Tucked between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica is home to more than six per cent of the world’s biodiversity (think about the USA and Europe, even more combined). 99 per cent of its electricity is produced from renewable resources, with one goal to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2050.

During the pandemic, Costa Rica has maintained of the lowest Covid-19 fatality rates in Latin America and its government got recognised for its success containing and managing the virus, Costa Rica opened its borders on November 1st implementing health and security protocols and requirements. Costa Rica also recently became the first country in Central America to legalize same-sex marriages. Costa Rica offers adventure experiences and luxury offerings.

Vietnam

Vietnam is a land of staggering natural beauty and cultural complexities, between megacities and hill-tribe villages, making Vietnam both exotic and compelling. A country that is long and skinny with so much variety to explore: emerald paddy fields and white-sand beaches, full-tilt cities and venerable pagodas, limestone islands looming dramatically out of the sea, vast caves, craggy mountains, and friendly minority communities – with their elaborate tribal costumes and age-old customs. You should not miss the pristine Ngoc Son Ngo Luong nature reserve, sometimes also described as the Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs.

When in Vietnam you should stay at Amanoi. Its setting is spectacular, overlooking Vinh Hy Bay, northeast of Ho Chi Minh City on the coast of the Nui Chua National Park. The private residences  feature king-sized beds, a combined living and sleeping area with wifi, LCD TV and a sound docking system – plus timber sundecks with comfy sunloungers. Villas include a live-in housekeeper.

It is the perfect destination if you are looking to recharge: set beside a lotus-filled lake, Amano’i’s spa has five double treatment rooms with double bathtubs, two hydrotherapy suites, a number of relaxation lounges with tranquil views, and a wide range of treatments using Aman’s chemical-free products. Nearby is a lakeside yoga pavilion, two outdoor tennis courts, plus a number of walking, running and trekking routes around the property.

UAE

UAE, in recent years, has become the Middle East’s tourist destination. Abu Dhabi and Dubai have enjoyed a sustained boom, the result is the phenomenal growth of vast cities that cater for Western tastes without loosing the Arabic atmosphere. From soaring glass tower blocks to five-star resorts, luxury villas and sandy beaches with that special glamour. We consider the lesser-known Emirates, even more fascinating. Conservative Sharjah has a real charm, while Umm al-Quwain is the perfect escape from the big cities, with oases and dunes that make for an arresting and beautiful landscape.
Dubai reopened to visitors from August 1st and travellers are required to have valid health insurance and a negative Covid test.
All visitors must have medical insurance and a negative PCR test completed within the past 96 hours by a nationally recognized body. You must show the certificate at check-in, complete a health declaration form before travel, and register on the COVID-19 DXB app.
Anyone showing symptoms on arrival must quarantine for 14 days at their own expense, unless flying with national carrier Emirates, which will cover costs for its passengers,

The Maldives,  not a new destination, but we are sure in 2021 it will be more popular than ever. The reason number one is for sure the ultimate seclusion that you are guarantee to experience when you stay in one of the many luxury resorts. It is a naturally socially distant getaway, and new strict Covid protocols and all the precautions taken from the managers in each resort make it our one favorite destination for 2021.
