Which spring weeks are still open
Easter Sunday falls on 28 March 2027, and the weeks around it do not fill evenly. This is what the live calendars of 2,607 Caribbean villa listings showed on 28 September 2026.

- Mid-March closes first, not Easter. The fortnight from 13 to 27 March, the heart of US spring break, has barely more than a third of listings still open.
- Five bedrooms or more? Decide this autumn. For 20–27 March, 288 villas of that size were open across the Caribbean, against 490 in mid-April.
- The week after Easter opens up. From 3 April, 1,058 villas were open, half as many again as the week before Easter. Mexico had more room throughout, with 45% to 55% of its listings open from mid-March to Easter week.

When should I book for Christmas, February or spring break?
Christmas and New Year 2026–27 is confirming now, with seven- to ten-night minimums. Presidents’ Day and February half-term weeks in the Caribbean and the Alps are largely confirmed by November, and peak alpine weeks are taken twelve to eighteen months ahead. For spring break and Easter 2027, the fortnight from 13 to 27 March closes first: on 28 September 2026, only 37% of the Caribbean villa listings we checked were still open for 20–27 March.
