Guests can wander through the lush forests, olive groves and vineyards, or explore the enchanting Renaissance gardens dotted with ornate fountains and statues.
The beautiful infinity pool, hand-built from Tuscany stone, is perfect for a midday dip and boasts spectacular views of the estate’s grounds and beyond, provide the perfect spaces to soak up the Tuscan sun and enjoy al fresco meals.
Just steps from the villa is a pretty Limonaia, ideal for small events, whilst the 30 square-metre Conventino is perfect for fitness and yoga sessions, as well as small workshops, cosy gatherings, and romantic dining.
The Diana Temple, sitting at the end of a cypress-lined path, is perfect for an intimate ceremony or private meditation session, and there is a beautiful on-site chapel for those looking for a romantic setting in which to say their vows.
Dating as far back as the early 15th century, the villa itself has been meticulously restored. It features Renaissance architecture, ornate décor, stone fireplaces, stained-glass windows, and Florentine frescoes, combined with luxurious modern comforts throughout. There are multiple living spaces including five salons, two dining rooms, and a beautiful library.
The Portrait Salon is the largest of living spaces, featuring a custom s-shaped sofa, a period fireplace and a beautiful frescoed ceiling. The adjacent Marble Salon is perfect for intimate dinner parties, seating up to 14 and featuring a corner bar and direct terrace access, whilst the Sacristy Room is perfect for entertaining younger guests as it’s the only room in the building with a television. The Medici Salon boasts oversized armchairs overlooking an elaborate stone fireplace, whilst the Tower – lined with plush cushions – offers a secluded place to relax and take in the views.
The villa also offers a Coat of Arms Hall, an atrium with an impressive glass-domed ceiling, a first-floor loggia, a family dining room, and a historic family kitchen, as well as a separate, professional chef’s kitchen.
Up to 14 guests can be accommodated in the seven guest rooms and suites. Many of the suites offer private living rooms, and all feature en-suite facilities, most with luxurious bathtubs.
