The expansive estate includes a full 12,916 square feet in the villa itself, you can rent the main villa (6 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms) with the addition of the Villino and the Guest House adding another eight bedrooms accommodating up to 28 guests. This brings your palatial total to 20,200 square feet of gorgeousness, service and sumptuous beauty.

In Villa Balbiano, Jacques Garcia renovated almost 6,500-square-foot living space on three floors, including a grand hall with Baroque frescoes, a piano hall with a Steinway concert grand, an indoor pool with a vaulted ceiling, and a formal dining room.
Villa Balbiano offers an opulent and dramatic look with a captivating and inspiring touch. It is easy to imagine that today Villa Balbiano not only offers the most unique vacation in Lake Como, but also a full immersion in the architecture, light, nature, art and atmosphere of the Lake Como experience.
Cardinal Rubini was the one who embellished the villa in the late 18th century and also lived in the villa, today you can stay here and you will be treat to a brilliant 21st century version of what a vacation on the Lake might have felt. Cardinal Rubini was a papal nuncio, a permanent diplomat of the Church, not only that he was also interested in arts and letters. You was also passionate of the gardening and you can see his touch all around the gardens with fountains and sculptures.
Inside the atmosphere is not less inspiring. The library, the favorite’s Cardinal Durini room, that he wanted in the lobby, was know within all the scholars during that time.
