Villa Clemente is situated in the Umbrian countryside and perched on top of a hillside in Perugia. This beautifully refurbished medieval farmhouse has spectacular views.
This remodeled conventional house consists of two structures, main villa and cottage; the main villa has six bedrooms’ unit that is independently accessible whereas the second one has two bedrooms, while the separate cottage is a single en-suite king bedroom; these details can be observed from its simply yet tastefully decorated interiors to its well-furnished outdoor gathering spaces which provide guests with numerous opportunities for relaxing with their loved ones or alone as they enjoy the stunning open sky and fertile landscapes along with its convenient positioning that favors exploration of many culinary, historical and artistic destinations located within Umbria “the green heart of Italy”, makes Clemente indeed an excellent place for leisure.
You can spend moments with loved ones or have your own time at our private heated infinity pool (15 m x 7 m x 1.5m deep with built-in steps) or next door Jacuzzi for eight persons. The infinity pool and pool deck are furnished with parasols, sunbeds and chairs overlooking an astounding Medieval Estate set against lush forests and hills. There are furnished terraces and a pergola with dining table seating 18 people together with BBQs offering sweeping views across the Umbrian countryside where you can enjoy meals under al fresco. Aspiring golfers may wish to make use of having their own putting green plus putters before taking them out to an adjacent 18-hole golf course.
What’s good
Clemente offers ample gathering spaces as well as fantastic outlooks for sharing moments together. The house is part of family-owned estate that includes rivers, fishing lakes, a waterfall, castles and estate’s restaurant (about 10-min drive). On-site activities range from yoga classes & massages to hunting (wild boar in autumn), trail hiking and 18-hole golf. Nearby there is a small village with shops (10 mins) and many other famous towns such as Perugia (25 mins) or Assisi (40 mins). Besides, Florence and Rome are at hand with approximately 2 hrs of driving to each. (Note: The villa can be reached by cars which are not low- height due to occasionally steep and stony country roads.)
