Campoluce
Description
Tucked between the cultural gems of Pisa and Lucca lies a region that captures the heart of Tuscany in every sense—rich in history, surrounded by nature, and brimming with authentic Italian charm. It’s here, in the gentle hills and golden light of this timeless landscape, that you’ll find Campoluce Tuscany —a welcoming villa perfectly suited for larger groups seeking the ideal balance between exploration and relaxation.
Begin your journey in Pisa, a city whose name alone conjures the image of its legendary Leaning Tower. Yet beyond this architectural icon, Pisa’s Piazza dei Miracoli unfolds like a historical stage set—home to the Cathedral, Baptistery, and Camposanto, each echoing centuries of art and faith. Meander along the Arno River, where vibrant cafes and boutique shops offer a taste of local life in this youthful university town.
A short drive brings you to Lucca, a city encircled by perfectly preserved Renaissance walls. These ancient fortifications now serve as a tree-lined promenade—a haven for cyclists and walkers. Within, Lucca reveals a mosaic of cobbled streets, elegant piazzas, and landmarks such as the Guinigi Tower, with its rooftop oak trees, and the grand San Martino Cathedral. Lucca invites a slower pace, where every turn leads to a glimpse of old-world elegance.
Outside the city walls, the landscape transitions into classic Tuscan countryside—rolling hills adorned with olive groves, vineyards, and stone-built hamlets. This is the perfect canvas for scenic drives, bike rides, and afternoons spent wine tasting or enjoying a rustic meal under the pergola.
And just beyond, the coastline calls. The Versilia Coast, with its wide sandy beaches and iconic resort towns like Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi, offers yet another layer of indulgence. Spend your days by the Tyrrhenian Sea, where luxurious beach clubs line the shore, fresh seafood graces every menu, and aperitivo is best enjoyed with your toes in the sand.
Location Highlights:
20 minutes to Pisa and the Leaning Tower
25 minutes to Lucca’s historic walled center
30–40 minutes to the Versilia Coast, including Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi
Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and cycling trails
Close to thermal baths, traditional markets, and family-run trattorias
Ideal starting point for day trips to Florence, San Gimignano, and the Chianti region
Whether you’re seeking culture, coast, or countryside, this enchanting corner of Tuscany offers it all—and Campoluce is your gateway to experiencing it with ease and elegance.
