Chalet Virmadisa

Chalet Virmadisa is a luxury chalet in Verbier, set above the resort on the sunny Savoleyres side with an open view across the valley. It is 200 metres, about a five-minute walk, from the Savoleyres lift, which puts the whole 4 Vallées ski area at the door each morning without a car. There are six bedrooms for fourteen guests over 390 square metres, split between the main chalet and a traditional mazot alongside it. A spa level holds a sauna and a bunk room with its own movie corner, and a cedar hot tub sits out on the terrace. Where is Chalet Virmadisa?

The chalet sits above the centre of Verbier on the Savoleyres side, facing south-west over the valley.

The last one or two kilometres are on steep mountain roads. In winter a four-wheel-drive car, or winter tyres with chains, is strongly advised. Parking is on site.

What is the chalet like inside?

The main living space is open plan. The lounge, kitchen and dining area share one room under a stone fireplace, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the mountains. Glass doors open onto the terrace, where there is an outdoor fireplace, a fire pit and a second seating area for the evening.

The dining table seats ten. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a washer and dryer, Wi-Fi throughout, and an integrated surround-sound system.

The spa level has a sauna, a jacuzzi bath and a rain shower, so the end of a ski day happens indoors and on the terrace without anyone leaving the chalet.

How are the bedrooms arranged?

Six bedrooms across the chalet and the mazot, fourteen guests in total, with six bathrooms and an extra WC.

The bunk room is the reason families choose Virmadisa. Children have their own space and their own films, one floor away from the adults. The mazot suits grandparents or a couple who want their own front door.

What is outside?

A private garden terrace and balcony look out across the valley. The cedar hot tub is on the terrace, along with an outdoor fireplace, a fire pit and outdoor dining, which makes it the natural place for après-ski in the last of the afternoon sun.

What service is included?

Virmadisa can be booked self-catered with housekeeping and concierge support, or fully catered with a chef, a hosting team and a chauffeur. We confirm the service level and exactly what it includes when we quote your dates. A fondue night in front of the fire is always worth arranging.

What can the concierge arrange?

Ski passes, ski hire delivered to the chalet, and private instructors for every level, from first lessons to off-piste guiding on Mont Fort. Heli-skiing. Tables at the mountain restaurants and in town, and après-ski in Verbier. Massage and treatments in the spa. Childcare. Transfers from Geneva or Sion by car or helicopter.
