Villa Teresa is about the way a day unfolds inside a morning run along a 1.5-kilometre track through vineyards, lengths in a 25-metre pool that holds the entire Val di Chiana in its sightline, an afternoon dissolved in the hammam, dinner under a Tuscan sky three kilometres from Montepulciano’s Renaissance walls.

Restored from its 17th-century origins and arranged over two floors, the villa sleeps twelve guests in six en-suite double bedrooms. It shares a border with Parco Villa Trecci, a bio-sustainable Mediterranean garden of nearly 400 plant species, a lake, vineyards and olive groves ‘ open to guests on the park’s opening days, and quietly extraordinary at golden hour.

THE HOUSE

The restoration kept what mattered: original ceiling beams, terracotta floors, red brick archways softened by neutral walls. The first-floor living room gathers everyone in the evening; deep sofas, a crackling fireplace, board games and films; while a brick archway leads to the bar for an unhurried digestivo. On the ground floor, a bright breakfast room with a long dining table adjoins the fully equipped kitchen, where your private chef can be arranged for every day of your stay.

THE SUITES

Six double bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room, television, safe and air conditioning. One bedroom on each floor converts to a twin on request; a quiet courtesy for multigenerational parties. Wi-Fi and satellite TV throughout.

THE SPA

This is where Villa Teresa separates itself from nearly every estate in the Montepulciano hills.
