Villa Hawksbill | 6 BR
Description
Hawksbill is a Grace Bay estate, not a villa. It covers more than five acres of beachfront in Leeward, at the quiet eastern end of the bay, and it was built for several generations of one family to holiday together without being on top of each other. The main house and a separate guest house hold eight en-suite bedrooms. The three-bedroom Beach House next door can be added, which takes it to eleven bedrooms and twenty-two guests. There is an oversized pool and a separate lap pool, a floodlit tennis court, a half basketball court, beach volleyball and a private dock for boats to collect you. The staff are already in place: a private chef, two butlers and two housekeepers. Among the Turks and Caicos villas we represent, this is the one for a family reunion or a group who want a whole stretch of Grace Bay to themselves.
Where exactly is Hawksbill?
The estate is in Leeward, the residential community at the eastern end of Grace Bay on Providenciales. This is the calmest and least built-up part of the beach, with no resorts in front, wide white sand and shallow turquoise water. The reef of Princess Alexandra National Park lies just offshore, which is why the snorkelling is so good and why jet skis are not allowed here.
Grace Bay’s restaurants and shops are about 4 km away. Providenciales International Airport is 16 km, and the airport transfer is included.
What is the house like inside?
The main house is built around a Great Room that looks straight out over Grace Bay. The style is contemporary Caribbean: a cantilevered walnut staircase, a wall of native stone, a fireplace for the cooler evenings, and doors that slide fully open onto the terrace.
For a large group, the family spaces matter as much as the formal ones. There is a games and family room with a big-screen television, a separate media room and indoor shuffleboard. There is also a gym with a Peloton bike and a massage room. Air conditioning and ceiling fans run throughout, with Wi-Fi, smart TVs with Apple TV, and speakers out on the terraces.
How are the bedrooms arranged?
Eight en-suite bedrooms across the main house and the guest house. Adding the Beach House brings it to eleven bedrooms, eleven and a half bathrooms, and twenty-two guests.
Main house
- Master suite — king, ocean views, doors that pocket fully open, bath and shower
- Second master suite, upper level — king, ocean views, double shower and a private outdoor bathing courtyard
- Bedroom three, first level — king, en-suite
- Bedroom four, first level — king, en-suite
- Bedroom five, first level — two double beds, en-suite
- Bedroom six, first level — king with a bunk above plus two twin beds, en-suite with bath and shower
Guest house
- Bedroom seven — king, en-suite
- Bedroom eight — a double and a twin, en-suite with bath and shower
Beach House (optional, next door)
- Two kings, en-suite
- Queen with a twin bunk above, en-suite, lower level
The two ocean-view master suites go to the senior couples. The family rooms on the first level of the main house, with doubles, bunks and twins, take children and teenagers. The guest house gives a second family its own front door.
What is outside?
More than five acres between the house and the sea. There is an oversized pool for the afternoons and a separate lap pool for anyone who actually swims, with a hot tub beside them. A screened terrace and a long stone terrace hold the outdoor dining table, and there is an outdoor shower and a fire pit for the evenings.
Sport is taken seriously. There is a floodlit all-weather tennis court, a half basketball court and beach volleyball on the sand. Paddleboards, kayaks and snorkelling gear are kept at the house. The private dock means boats can collect the party directly for a day out to the cays. An automated mosquito system keeps everything comfortable after dark.
Is the villa staffed?
Fully. A private chef cooks for the house (groceries are charged separately), two butlers look after the party through the day, and two housekeepers keep the estate in order. The airport transfer is included. Pre-stocking the kitchen before arrival and any social events are arranged at additional cost.
What can the concierge arrange?
Pre-arrival provisioning to the chef’s list. Boat days from the dock to Iguana Island, Half Moon Bay and the cays, snorkelling at the reef, fishing charters and kitesurfing lessons at Long Bay. Tables at Coco Bistro, Grace’s Cottage and Da Conch Shack. Golf at Provo Golf Club. In-villa massage, yoga and personal training, babysitting, and the set-up for a birthday or anniversary dinner on the beach.
Who is Hawksbill right for?
Multi-generational families, family reunions, and groups of up to twenty-two who want space, sport and staff in one place. The separate guest house and the optional Beach House let several families share the estate and still have their own corners. Children are welcome, and between the pools, the courts, the shallows and the kayaks, they will not be bored.
