Description
Arrecife 26 is a modern five-bedroom house in Puntacana Resort & Club with the Caribbean Sea and the La Cana golf course in view, a butler and a housekeeper included, and the closest beach under 500 metres away. Twelve guests, a dining table for twelve, six bathrooms and the use of two private beach clubs.
Five en-suite bedrooms sleep twelve: two kings, two rooms with two double beds and one with two queens. We’d suggest it for two families who want a butler to bring the drinks to the pool without paying for a chef they won’t use, or for a golf group of six couples with the La Cana course on the doorstep. Of the Punta Cana villas we place, it’s the modern one with the sea in view.
THE HOUSE
The living areas have high ceilings, air-conditioning, a sofa lounge and a dining room for twelve, with a balcony and a terrace for eating outside. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, an ice maker and a coffee machine, and an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and gas grill is there for eating outside. Cable and smart TV, Wi-Fi, a safe, a washer and dryer and a welcome pack are in the house.
THE BEDROOMS
Each bedroom has air-conditioning, a ceiling fan and its own bathroom. Two have king beds, two have a pair of double beds and the fifth has two queens. Two of the six bathrooms have a bath as well as a shower; all have hairdryers and toiletries.
THE POOL AND THE SETTING
The pool comes with a patio and a lawn and garden, the golf course at the front and the sea in view. The beach at the La Cana Clubhouse is a few minutes away, the Oscar de la Renta Tennis Center a three-minute golf cart ride, and guests may use two private beach clubs. The resort itself has seven restaurants and bars, 45 holes of golf, twelve tennis courts, two beaches, a nature reserve and a marina. Security cameras cover the outdoor social areas of the house.
THE STAFF
A butler and a housekeeper come with the house; the butler serves drinks and snacks by the pool. An English-speaking concierge books tee times, tennis courts and excursions and can arrange a private chef, grocery shopping, airport transfers, golf cart rental, yacht and catamaran charters, fishing, car and bike rental, a personal trainer, a massage therapist, live music and decorations, all on request. Breakfast can be booked.
THE RULES
Quiet hours are 10 pm to 9 am, parties and events need written approval, smoking is for designated outdoor areas, drones are not allowed in the resort, and pets are accepted only with written authorisation before arrival. The resort asks for every guest’s ID or passport at least 48 hours before check-in. A refundable damage deposit of 20 per cent of the rent is taken on arrival and returned five days after check-out.
THE LOCATION
