Description
Can Roc 153 is a contemporary five-bedroom villa in Cap Cana, every bedroom with its own bathroom and a terrace or a door to the outside, a heated pool with a jacuzzi, a pool table and a Sonos system in every room. Twelve guests, six bathrooms, the Punta Espada course near by and an exclusive beach club for guests.
Five en-suite bedrooms sleep twelve: two kings, a room with two doubles, a room with two queens and two doubles for a family, and a fifth with a twin and a double. We’d put it forward for two families who want a modern house rather than a Caribbean one, or friends who’ll use the heated pool, the jacuzzi and the pool table more than the golf. THE HOUSE
The aesthetic is modern and the finishes are premium, with high ceilings, air-conditioning throughout and a Sonos sound system in every room. Dining seats twelve inside and ten outside, with a sofa lounge, a terrace and a patio, an outdoor kitchen, an indoor barbecue and dining room called the konoba, a barbecue and a gas grill. Cable and smart TV, speakers and a stereo, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, an ironing board, books, a baby cot, beach equipment and a welcome pack are in the house.
THE BEDROOMS
Every bedroom has its own full bathroom, plenty of closet space and a terrace or a door to the outside. Bedrooms two and four have king beds, bedroom one two doubles, bedroom three two queens and two doubles, and bedroom five a twin and a double. One of the six bathrooms has a bath and a private hot tub; the sixth has a toilet.
THE POOL AND THE SETTING
The pool is heated, with a jacuzzi, sunbeds, a lawn, a garden and a patio, and the views listed are ocean, water, golf course and mountain. The amenities add a yoga studio, a pool table and a bike for guests, with beach towels and equipment in the house.
THE STAFF
The house comes with dedicated service staff and a bilingual concierge team who book tee times, tennis and excursions and arrange grocery shopping, airport transfers, golf cart rental, yacht and catamaran charters, fishing, car and bike rental, a personal trainer, a massage therapist, live music and decorations, all on request. The owner’s listing names a chef and a golf cart; neither is detailed on the page, so we confirm both when we quote. Breakfast can be booked.
THE RULES
Quiet hours are 10 pm to 9 am, parties and events need written approval, smoking is for designated outdoor areas, drones are not allowed, and pets are accepted only with written authorisation before arrival. The resort asks for every guest’s ID or passport at least 48 hours before check-in. A refundable damage deposit of 20 per cent of the rent is taken on arrival and returned five days after check-out.
THE LOCATION
