Hiking the coastline
Amanoi is a getaway to the 29,000 hectares of Núi Chúa National Park, surrounded by hills where rugged wonderland of diverse landscapes and myriad wildlife reward the adventurers who love to hike and enjoy the most amazing panoramas at every turn. The network of trails can lead guests on family-friendly rambles to picnic on secret beaches, or if you are more adventurous you can challenge treks to the rock formations of Bai Da or the bay-view drama of Goga Peak. The most rewarding is the four-hour hike from Da Han village through farmland and forest to bathe at the three-tiered waterfall of Ba Tang.
Explore the lost kingdom
The coast of southern Vietnam, once dominated by Cham people who left an ancient heritage in this region. Explore the ruins of 13th-century towered temple complex of Po Klong Garai, guided by Cham descendant Tuyen. Later, enjoy the sunset as a Cham Master that will reconnect you and is a sacred blessing and a traditional Cham family feast is served beneath the star-strewn sky.
Biking Thai An
Explore the region by bike starting from Nui Chau’s National Park Museum, it is an easy and amusing ride along the coastal roads and dirt tracks to the secluded village of Thai An. You can take a break for refreshments and explore the local school and the morning markets and to experience the local life which feel like is stop back in the ancient time.
Picnics by the sea
There are many private sights where to have a nice picnic when staying at Amanoi. Hiking the picturesque walking trail to the resort’s tranquil picnic area for a special spot where to enjoy the most breathtaking views of the bay. Or, you can opt to reach spectacular spot from the beach by kayak and cruise along the coast to the picnic site, passing granite rock formations and secret inlets.
Reef exploration
When staying at Amanoi you should not miss the exploration of the pristine reefs on a guided snorkelling expedition, and discover more than 50 varieties of staghorn, plate and brain corals found in the Vinh Hy Bay conservation area, as well as colourful shoals of tropical fish including triggerfish, angel fish, trumpet, damsel and bat fish which creates a real kingdom of coral.
