There are no major events during the month of September in St. Barts, as this is typically when island residents go back to visit their family in France after a busy season.

While there are no major events happening in St. Barts during October, the water is still warm from the summer, hotel and villa occupancy is low, and most restaurants open at the middle of the month – it’s a lovely, quiet time to visit.

All Saints Day: November 1, 2023
Religious holiday. In St. Barth, the cemeteries, which are normally kept in impeccable condition, are spiffed to a higher degree of beauty and cleanliness. Island residents begin gathering in the five cemeteries at dusk to light candles and socialize in celebration of the lives of loved ones buried there.
Pietå Day: November 6, 2023
Commemoration of the cultural bonds between St. Barths and Sweden, and linkage between sister cities of Gustavia and Pitea, Sweden. Activities include an arts and crafts show on the quai in front of the Wall House in Gustavia, a 5K run, a 10k walk (the Gustavialoppet), and the Children’s Race.
Caribbean Rum Awards: October 31st – November 4th 2023
Each year, a team of judges from the Caribbean and around the world descends upon St. Barths to judge a coveted selection of the Caribbean’s best rums, including “Uber-Premium” categories of rum and rhum agricole that gather the most expensive rums on the market for an unparalleled competition. Hosted in Gustavia, the heart of St. Barths, the Caribbean Rum awards hosts nightly events ranging from tastings to workshops to exclusive gala events.
St. Barth Gourmet Festival: Nov. 07 to 12, 2023
Vacation lover and a gourmand? Consider a fall trip to St. Barths to experience the celebrated St. Barth Gourmet Festival (formerly known as the Taste of St. Barths). Celebrated guests chefs from around the world team up with local restaurants for fabulous tasting menus, cook-offs, and friendly competition.
St. Barth Cata Cup: 15 to 19 novembre 2023
The 14th anniversary of the Cata Cup on St. Barths. The regatta of small catamarans starts and ends on St Jean Beach each day.

St. Barths Christmas Village in Gustavia: December 2023
A festive area is set up on the dock at the port of Gustavia featuring local artisans’ work, food stands showcasing local St. Barths’ cuisine, and a special area for children to meet Santa Claus (or affectionately, Pere Noel) on Dec 20th. There is a best Christmas tree contest.
New Years Eve: December 31, 2023
Live music and celebrations across the island. The New Year’s Eve Regatta, a sailing race organized for fun around St. Barts. Fireworks at midnight over the harbor in Gustavia. Live entertainment in some restaurants.

St. Barts Music Festival 2024: January 15–21, 2024
Since 1985, musicians from all over come to St. Barts in January to perform live music under the roasting Caribbean sun. Spend a dozen nights with the finest live music and dance performances from some of the world’s most prominent classical, opera, ballet, and jazz stars. These performers have the level of artistry that one would normally have to attend Carnegie Hall in New York or the Opera Garnier in Paris to experience.
The musicians are soloists and principals from symphony orchestras and Philharmonia from all over: Montreal, Boston, New York, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, London, Paris, the Juilliard and Curtis schools of music, and many others.

St. Barts Calendar of Events March 2024
Carnival of St. Barths: Feb 12 and Feb 13 2024
Costume parade through the streets of Gustavia from 3pm to 7pm, and parties in restaurants from lunchtime till midnight. This is preceded earlier in the week by the short but charming “Children’s Parade”. Ash Wednesday marks the end of Carnival, and the ceremonial burning of a straw statue of Vaval – King of Carnaval. This happens at sunset on Shell Beach, and is followed by live music and drinks at restaurant Do Brasil.
St. Barths Bucket Regatta (St. Barts Race Week): 21-24 March 2024
The St. Barths Bucket Regatta (also known as St. Barts Race Week) is a three-day invitational regatta with 48 of the most impressive mega-yachts in the world. All yachts are at least 100ft long, including many classic wooden racing boats. You can view many of the participating boats in Gustavia harbor after 5 pm most days. Join the race and celebrate after each day with your crew with many sponsored events.

St. Barts Calendar of Events April 2024
Les Voiles de St. Barth Regatta: April 14th – 20th, 2024
An important stop on the Caribbean regatta circuit, the “Les Voiles de St. Barth” regatta will include over 70 boats, divided into six classes from classic sloops to mega yachts. The results from each days racing are posted in the events tent on the Quai in Gustavia, where you can also enjoy live music each night.

West Indies’ Regatta: TBC
Three day event held annually over the May Day weekend in St Barth, celebrating traditional sailboats from the West Indies islands. More of a wooden boat festival than a competitive regatta, the purpose of the event is to promote and encourage traditional boat building in the Caribbean.
St. Barths Film Festival: April 25 to 30
This annual festival features Caribbean Films and Filmmakers. Films are shown outdoors in the schoolyard in Lorient, and weather permitting, on Flamands beach.
