The Best Caribbean Islands to Visit in March 2027, Island by Island

March is the heart of the Caribbean dry season: warm days, little rain and a sea of about 78°F (26°C), months before the hurricane season begins. March sits inside the Caribbean high season, which runs from December to April, and the Atlantic hurricane season does not open until June 1. It is also a month of spring breaks and, in 2027, of Easter, which falls on March 28: the largest houses go first, so the island is only half the decision. 1. Turks and Caicos: calm water and the last of the whales

Providenciales averages highs of 82°F (28°C) in March, with the sea at about 77°F (25°C) and around an inch and a half of rain in the month. The trade winds are still a little stronger than in summer, but the reef keeps Grace Bay calm. Humpback whales pass the islands from late December to early April, and the last sightings come around mid-March, from Grand Turk, Salt Cay, South Caicos and Providenciales.
