St. Barts, Bucket Regatta (Cancel)

A three-day invitational regatta with 48 of the most impressive mega-yachts in the world, all at least 100ft long, including many classic wooden racing boats. Dubai, World Cup Horse Race

Celebrating 25 years in March 2020, the Dubai World Cup meeting is the world’s richest day of horse racing. Total purses for the card, which will feature six Group 1 and three Group 2 fixtures, are worth USD$35 million.
Created through the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai World Cup provides a truly global stage upon which the best horses in the world come to compete every year. The race is held at Meydan Racecourse on the last Saturday in March and is the pinnacle of the UAE racing season. It’s also one of the highlights of Dubai’s social calendar, with fashionistas taking advantage of the occasion to dress to impress.

Everyone is Irish on St. Patty’s Day. And everyone turns out for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and the party that follows at the city’s pubs. The parade kicks off on 44th Street at 11am and marches up 5th Avenue to 86th street, passing St Patrick’s Cathedral along the way. Be sure to get there early for a good spot and wear something green! The parade draws about 250,000 marchers and two million spectators annually.
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is held every year on March 17, (Except when March 17 falls on a Sunday. It is then moved to Saturday March 16 because of religious observances).
