Turks and Caicos Villas with a Private Chef: 19 Houses Where the Chef Comes with the Stay
A Turks and Caicos villa with a private chef works in one of two ways: at some houses the chef is part of the stay, and at others a chef is booked by the meal or by the day. Below are the 19 villas in our collection on Providenciales where the chef comes with the house, from four bedrooms on Chalk Sound to eleven on Grace Bay, how chef service works at the others, and what a day with the chef looks like in a stay we are planning now. For every house we offer on the islands, see our Turks and Caicos villa rentals.

Turks and Caicos villas with a chef at a glance
| Chef included | At the 19 villas in this guide, on Grace Bay, Long Bay, Turtle Tail, Leeward, Chalk Sound and Thompson Cove, from four to eleven bedrooms. |
|---|---|
| Chef on request | At other villas a chef is booked by the meal or for the whole day, with the rate set by the size of the group. |
| The food | Charged separately at almost every villa: it is bought for you and billed at cost, often with a provisioning fee, and the receipts are available at check-out. |
| Dietary needs | Set before you arrive: vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies and children’s meals are planned into the menu. |
| When to book | Nine to twelve months ahead for the holidays and for June to September, with the chef booked together with the villa. |
Chef included or chef on request: what changes
Chef included means the chef is part of the house team, with a butler or a villa host and housekeeping. At Villa Bash on Grace Bay, the villa confirmed to us in October 2026 how it works: the butler, the chef and the housekeeper come every day, the chef cooks all the meals and snacks you ask for, and the housekeeper tidies each day and turns down the rooms at night. The groceries and the drinks are bought for you and added to the final bill; paying an advance for the shopping is optional.
Chef on request is the other model. At the villas one of our island partners manages, the chef sheet they sent us in October 2026 sets out a chef by the service, for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or for a full day of three meals and snacks, with the rate set by the size of the group: up to ten guests, eleven to fifteen, and sixteen to twenty. You choose the dishes from the chef’s menus, and the chef adapts them to each guest. The groceries are billed separately with a provisioning fee, and the villa manager can give you the receipts at check-out.
What we learned from that sheet: two services in one day cost as much as the full day, so if you want breakfast and dinner, book the full day and have lunch made as well.

A day with the chef in a Turks and Caicos villa
For a celebration we are planning on Grace Bay this winter, the plan is taking shape. Breakfast is delivered every morning at the hour the group chooses, with a gluten-free option for one guest. One evening the chef cooks a taco buffet with vegetarian dishes. On the day of the celebration the chef and a server stay for the whole day: a late-morning brunch, then dinner at the house, planned around a vegetarian dish, a fish and a meat.
Nobody in the group goes shopping. They choose the dishes from the chef’s sample menus, the chef buys everything and brings it to the villa, and the groceries are charged to the villa account at cost. That is the pattern at most houses: you decide the menu, the house does the rest.
For the holidays, the chef matters most. At Villa Bajacu on Turtle Tail the private chef is part of the stay, so the Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner is cooked in the house; at our beachfront villas on the North Shore, a chef can be booked to cook and serve the Thanksgiving dinner. The houses still open for that week are in our guide to Thanksgiving in Turks and Caicos.
Ask the chef for the island’s own dishes too: conch, which the Turks and Caicos Islands are known for, as fritters, salad or ceviche; spiny lobster when it is in season; and fish from the morning’s catch.
Booking a chef: what to tell us, and when
- Who eats what. Allergies, vegetarian or gluten-free guests, and what the children will and will not eat: the chef plans the menu around them before you arrive.
- How many meals. Every meal at the villa, or dinners at home and a few evenings out: our guide to the best restaurants in Turks and Caicos helps with the nights you eat out.
- The celebrations. A birthday, an anniversary or a holiday dinner: a server can be added for the evening, and a table can be set on the beach.
- The first evening. Ask for the kitchen to be stocked before you land, so the first dinner is ready when you arrive.
- Lead time. Nine to twelve months ahead for the holidays and for June to September. Book the chef together with the villa, not after.
Turks and Caicos villas with a private chef: your questions answered
Do Turks and Caicos villas come with a private chef?
Some do. At the 19 villas in this guide the chef is part of the stay; at others a chef can be booked by the meal or by the day. We set out the staff and their hours for each villa in writing before you book.
Is the food included when the chef is included?
Usually not. At almost every villa the groceries and drinks are bought for you and charged separately, at cost, often with a provisioning fee, and the receipts are available at check-out. We confirm how it works for your villa before you pay.
How much does a private chef cost in Turks and Caicos?
It depends on the villa, the number of meals and the size of the group. Where the chef is not included, chefs charge by the service or by the day, with higher rates for larger groups, and the food is extra. We quote the chef together with the villa for your dates.
Can we have the chef for dinners only?
Yes. Where the chef is booked separately, you can take dinner service only, or two meals a day. Two services in one day can cost as much as the full day, so for breakfast and dinner we compare both for you.
Can the chef cater for dietary restrictions?
Yes. Tell us before you arrive: the chef plans the menu around vegetarian and gluten-free guests, allergies and children’s meals, and you choose the dishes from the chef’s menus.
Can a chef cook Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner in the villa?
Yes. Where the chef is part of the stay, as at Villa Bajacu, the holiday dinner is cooked in the house; elsewhere a chef can be booked for the evening. Book the villa and the dinner together, nine to twelve months ahead for the holidays.
